the way druig walks on eggshells with practically every other eternal, always biting back remarks and holding his tongue but then with makkari he’s just like a whole other person. he teases her, he smiles, there’s no tension it’s like a weight off his chest when he sees her he doesn’t carry as many burdens or have to deal with the effects of this difficult and enigmatic persona the others have given to him. i think that’s neat.
